  • misterwolf @nickienicks @castingsinmyblood @otsutsuki @mirandaandmariah @samanthaharmon @xxx_fallengalaxyxxx @thepinkmenace and @robertcooper I know some of you missed the first Poppy Playtime film, so be sure to check that out in my filmography before this one. For those of you who already know the first, welcome to its sequel, Poppy Playtime II: Playcare! I have a comment in the Huggy Wuggy role as well, so be sure to respond to it. It's as faithful to the third chapter of the game as I could get it, so don't be too upset that there's a few inaccuracies. Enjoy!

  • misterwolf Plot: An episode of a cartoon show called The Smiling Critters plays, and it shows anthropomorphic animals and the series' villain CatNap in a house during a rainstorm. It eventually cuts to black, and Lilly, who went unconscious in a train crash, awakens and is dropped by a mysterious figure into an orphanage called Home Sweet Home.
  • misterwolf Lilly is called by an anonymous ally, Ollie, who is a friend of Poppy. He explains to Lilly that Playcare and Home Sweet Home is CatNap's church and hunting ground, and assures her that Poppy is on her side; Poppy ventures into the home of the Smiling Critters, and finds a collar with a bone tag, and when she finds no blood, she realizes that DogDay is still alive. After restoring power to the entire area despite getting a nightmare orchestrated by CatNap and featuring a nightmarish hallucination of Huggy Wuggy, Lilly encounters his wife Kissy Missy, who explains that Huggy Wuggy is still alive as she reveals that she shares his heart, and he, her own. Poppy eventually reunites with Lilly, and they embrace, indicating that Lilly forgives her. When they enter the home of the Smiling Critters again, they encounter DogDay, who was tortured by CatNap. He tells them that they can save everyone else from the Prototype, CatNap's master, and kill him. Parasitic creatures then infest DogDay and zombify him, before Kissy Missy arrives and reluctantly puts him out of his misery.
  • misterwolf After restoring Home Sweet Home and Playcare back to its former glory and facing numerous possessed creatures, Poppy and Lilly are confronted by CatNap, who reveals himself as the one who threw Lilly in the orphanage. They manage to outrun him and receive a posthumous message from Hoppy Hopscotch saying that Lilly's co-workers all died fighting the Prototype, and that Huggy was the most resistant of those he took control of, indicating that in addition to surviving his fall, he may have been freed.
  • misterwolf Ollie warns Poppy and Lilly that PJ Pug-a-Pillar is following them and that CatNap's lair is up ahead. Kissy Missy arrives and kills Pug-a-Pillar before joining the two. Entering the lair, a footage showcasing Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy being experimented on by executive staff members of the Playtime Company. CatNap arrives and attacks them, but Poppy and Lilly fight back.
  • misterwolf After desecrating the lair, Poppy and Lilly overpower CatNap, but he transforms into a more monstrous form, now a grey skeleton with a horrifyingly widened mouth. Poppy and Lilly gain the upper hand, eventually setting CatNap on fire, weakening him so badly that he surrenders to an arriving Prototype, signifying that he is allowing himself to be killed; the Prototype stabs CatNap through his mouth with his hand and lifts him up and away from the orphanage. Ollie congratulates them on their victory, before they head to an elevator for a final confrontation with the Prototype. However, Kissy Missy's fate is left unknown when she is attacked by an unidentified assailant. When the elevator crashes, a blue figure with Huggy Wuggy's resemblance appears just before the end credits roll.
