Description of Popplio (English Dub):

The second-in-command of Team Steam, one of several exploration teams who apprentices in the same guild as Snivy's team. Popplio's not quite as adventure hungry as his teammates, and was initially adverse to adventuring—but the thought of becoming a famous adventurer and making a new name for himself after coming out as a boy was too tempting, and he supposes the adventures aren't as bad as he thought either! And with the adults gone, he's taken this as his chance to really shine as an adventurer.
