In the Blooming Polders, a peaceful and lush land inhabited near-exclusively by Grass-type Pokemon, an evil group of Pokemon rises up with the intentions of stealing the Life Cores that make everything on this land bloom to revive their master Yveltal. Xerneas, who resides over the Polders, attempts to stop them but is foiled, and in a last-ditch effort to protect the Polders, sends out six crystals containing the power of life itself. Five of these crystals are found by five young residents of the Polders, who find that upon coming in contact with them, they gain the power to temporarily evolve into their final forms and channel the power of life itself!
