Synopsis

The archetype cool girl Jennifer and her geeky nerd of a brother David one day find themselves conflicted over who will watch the tv, both with equally petty reasons. After a TV repair man comes over, they fight for the remote only to find themselves transported into a whimsical vintage world of the tv show: Pleasantville. While it all seems sunshine and roses they slowly begin to realise the issues with the childhood dream land, correcting them, unknown to the consequences that would follow.

Description of Skip Martin (Mary Sue’s Sweetheart):

Skip is by far the second to worst villain in this story. At first he is what attracts Jennifer to the world of Pleasantville, the knowledge that he has a crush on Mary Sue brings her to having sex with him, something no one in the town had ever done before. This is what led to the outbreak of colour. This then turns into teens all over contributing to sexual activity in the town. However slowly over time he starts to be twisted by the thoughts of most men in the town, and he becomes against the idea of colour, even burning the books in the town and committing numerous hate crimes.
