Plastic memories is a series that takes place in a near-future city where humans live alongside androids with human emotions and memories. The series follows Tsukasa Mizugaki, an 18-year-old who lands a job at the prestigious SAI corporation after failing his college exams. SAI is known for producing and managing androids called "Giftia" that have human emotions, but come with a predetermined lifespan of 81,920 hours
