Synopsis

Set in modern-day Tokyo, we follow the protagonist, Ren Amamiya, who is unjustly labeled a delinquent and is sent to Shujin Academy on probation. As he navigates his new life, Ren discovers the existence of the Metaverse—a parallel dimension born from humanity's collective unconscious—where people's distorted desires manifest as malevolent palaces ruled by sinister figures. With the help of his newfound friends, Ren forms the Phantom Thieves of Hearts—a group of vigilante Persona users determined to change the hearts of corrupt individuals and force them to confess their misdeeds.

While investigating Palaces, Morgana, a mysterious being with ties to Mementos, encounters the protagonist and Ryuji Sakamoto. Having lost his memories, Morgana sticks with the Phantom Thieves--acting as their second-in-command, amscot, and guide--as he believes their comradery will lead to him uncovering the truth regarding his identity.
