Synopsis

Percy Jackson & the Olympians is a five-book series of adventure and mythological fiction. The first book, The Lightning Thief, was released in 2005, followed by The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and its final book, The Last Olympian in 2009. It is narrated by the title character, Percy Jackson, a demigod son of Poseidon. It is also the first book series in the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles.

Description of Telkhines:

Telkhines are a race of monsters who can speak just the Manticore. They’re half domestic dog and half seal. They’re the ones who forge Kronos’ scythe in Mount St. Helen, and brainwash young telkhines into hating the gods, and rewriting mythology saying they forged The Big 3’s weapons of power when this is false.
