Synopsis

Percy Jackson & the Olympians is a five-book series of adventure and mythological fiction. The first book, The Lightning Thief, was released in 2005, followed by The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and its final book, The Last Olympian in 2009. It is narrated by the title character, Percy Jackson, a demigod son of Poseidon. It is also the first book series in the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles.

Description of Silena Beauregard:

Silena is the head of the Aphrodite cabin, and is described as being the nicest of them all. She is dear friends with Percy / Grover / Annabeth / Clarrise, and the girlfriend of Bekendorf. She is also one of the teachers at Camp Half Blood, and she teaches Percy how to ride a Pegasus. In The Last Olympian we learn she was tricked into being Luke’s spy. In an act of redemption she gives her life to avenge Beckendorf and to help the heroes kill a dragon, going out a heroine.
