16 year old Georgie MacQuoid is already considered more oddball than normal at her school, so when delving into love, friendships, and independence, she can't help but feel trapped by the fact that her friend, Pascal Paxton, is a 16 year old boy who has never spoken in his real voice, he is alone- because Georgie is the only student in her school year who feels bad to ghost him. She wants other friends, however, Pascal needs her friendship more than anything- as he's only got his elf puppet, Jerry. Georgie wants to treat Pascal and his puppet problem, because she knows that- deep inside: Pascal isn't Jerry, and he has needs of his own. Can she forget about herself long enough for Pascal's light to shine, and to figure out his own backstory- not as his Jerry persona. But as himself: Pascal Paxton. However, Georgie also needs Pascal as much as he needs her, and decides to try to be more open with him. But is Georgie ready to learn about Pascal's past?
