Alec was the actor who Brad Davis hired to be the new face of Clothes Over GFs. He rocked Tree Hill when he arrived to begin working with the company with his confident, yet shameless behavior, dim-witted attitude and childlike demeanor. He was known for living on the wild side, even going as far as to be admitted to rehab before arriving in Tree Hill, but he can be focused and disciplined when he wants to be, noted by his commitment to writing a script with Julia Baker. Alec used their script-writing to get close to her, but after Julia affirmed her love for Brad to him, he had to give up his "new drug". After his involvement in Brad and Julia's relationship caused them to break up and Julia took her anger out on him, Alec tried to commit suicide. However, he was able to move on and form a relationship with Cheryl Adams despite its difficulties and he was able to start a successful country music career.
