Monica Wright is Evelyn’s mother. She has been divorced from her father for a long time and is a very kind older woman. She is very friendly with Max, and is the only main character who was not seen to be killed in any other universe. However, before the final conflict, Black Magic kills her in pursuit of her daughter. Evelyn is distraught when she finds out, yet the mission to protect her continues.
