The strict father of Mufasa and Scar and previous leader of the pack. He always showed great favoritism towards Mufasa, preparing him to be his heir, while he pushed Scar away and abused him psychologically, making him see him as younger than Mufasa. When his children became adults, he made them face each other in a duel to determine who would be his heir, where Mufasa won. In the end, Scar would murder his father with the help of a cobra, making it his first murder.
