Richard Rider is living in isolation and hiding after the fall of Xandar. Now a drunk with no more strength to move on, he is brought out of his guilt when a woman whos planet is threatened by the warlord Zorr, begs for his help. Richard must once again play the part of Nova and regain the duty to protect the innocent. Not just for the galaxy but himself.
