Description of Ginger Jaye:

COMICBOOK HISTORYGinger was the High School girlfriend of Richard Rider (AKA Nova).[1] Following Rider's disappearance from Earth, she ended up in an abusive marriage. Nova paralyzed her husband Darren and left him with brain damage when he tried to murder Ginger. A pregnant Ginger lost her home due to the substantial medical bills. Ginger had planned to give the baby up for adoption. Nova's parents Charles and Gloria Rider offered to let Ginger and the baby live with them until Ginger got on her feet but it is unknown if this ever happened
