Story Plot

June 1926. Lawyer Tom Hutter has been called to Transylvania to finalize the sale of what his employer, Knox, considers to be a near worthless property to an eccentric foreigner named Orlok. But something lurks in the shadows of Orlok's dilapidated castle. Something that will spread like a plague to the streets of New York.

Great Depression America era Nosferatu is a really interesting concept. You might be able to reimagine the plague that Orlok brings with him to fit that description.

@nathanbates my idea is that Orlok represents that end of the "Roarin 20s" the fall that comes after the meteoric rise of Golden Age Hollywood, the Gangster, and the like, that was just around the corner. So, his plague might be a drought of some sort

@castingsinmyblood oh, got you. It’s a cool setting for a vampire movie anyways. Faded art deco would be a good aesthetic for them. There’s also a little of Gatsby in there too right? Wealthy and mysterious recluse who lures lost souls into his manor.
