Fan Casting Nosferatu (1955)

In 1838, Thomas Hutter, a young real estate agent, is sent to the remote Carpathian region to finalize the sale of an estate to the enigmatic Count Orlok. Upon arriving at Orlok's castle, Hutter quickly realizes that his host is a supernatural creature, a vampire who feeds on human blood. Hutter discovers Orlok's plan to move to his hometown of Wisborg, where he intends to spread plague and death. As Hutter struggles to escape the castle and warn the inhabitants of Wisborg, his wife Ellen begins to sense Orlok's ominous presence. As the vampire's shadow approaches, Ellen, with her purity and courage, becomes the key to defeating the creature. In a final life-and-death confrontation, Ellen sacrifices herself to lure Orlok and expose him to sunlight, destroying him and saving her city from destruction.
