Thomas, an British anthropomorphic blue steam train, hides out in Great Lakes City to escape the evil blast from the past Diesel 10, who destroyed the Island Of Sodor, where he used to live. After accidentally causing a massive power cut while hiding in the big city, not only is Thomas found by Diesel 10, but also by the other Villains, including Morag and Diesel, along with Splatter and Dodge, Class 40, Big City Engine, Bulgy, and Den and Dart. Meanwhile, a big city girl who lives with her extended Mexican-American family, Ronnie Anne Santiago, and her friend who lives in Royal Woods, a town not too far away from where she lives, Lincoln Loud, meet Thomas and decide to help him and his friends to escape domination, save The American Railroads, and stop Diesel 10 and Morag from using The Magic Railroad’s powers to destroy Earth, with the help of Ronnie Anne’s uncle Carlos Casagrande.
