No Time for Tears sequel
Five years pass after the events of the previous part. Although the other members of John's family have become convinced of Ruth(who is now his wife), his father still harbors resentment and distrust for her. Both John and Ruth are slowly losing hope that he will love and accept her. One day William(John's father) begins to feel very unwell. The diagnosis turns out to be devastating-Brain cancer. It is too late for treatment. John refuses to move his father to a hospice and decides to take care of him, in which he is helped by Ruth. In time, William completely changes his attitude toward her.
