Synopsis

Born powerless and the runt of the litter in a family of supers, Aaron has grown up with the reality that he's never been in the same league as his own flesh and blood--but when a near death experience awakens his hidden animus ability, his life turns on its own head. Now able to attend the prestigious Gibson Academy where the children of the world's heroes go to train, Aaron believes that this is what his life has been building up to--but he will quickly learn that there's more to being a hero and the new world he's entered than meets the eye, and he will be forced to confront just how far he's willing to go to achieve his dreams.
