Once a scientist named Zayton Honeycutt, the man who would become the Fugitoid became an enemy of the Triceratons and the Federation for his creation of a teleportation device that could help either side win their war. However, Honeycutt refused to sell his technology to either of them, and he was branded a criminal to his home planet D’Hoonib as a result. One night, Zayton’s mind was transferred to his robot assistant SAL during a thunderstorm, and he was forced to go on the run from the Triceraton Empire and the Federation since they could take advantage of the fact that he was now a fugitive android who had no rights.
