The Turtles first meet Usagi when they’re brought together to fight in the Battle Nexus and become close friends with the samurai rabbit since then. Usagi comes from a world of anthropomorphic animals in an Edo-era Japanese setting, where he spends his days wandering the land on a warrior’s pilgrimage and often having adventures along the way.
