Nimona assumes a giant, red phoenix-like form and flies into the cannon, resulting in the death of the Director. The resulting explosion destroys the wall, revealing a beautiful, mountainous valley behind. Sometime later, the kingdom undergoes several changes: the breach in the wall has become a trade road, Nimona, who is presumed dead, and Nimona, whose skeleton is encased in cement. Themonster awakens and attacks them Nimona the Evil Ghost's body and angrily races off towards Leslie
