Nightwing Season Twelve

Dick is informed he has inherited Haly’s circus As he tries to head the circus he once called home he begins to research its history as people in suits are constantly watching him. One night he wakes up in his apartment to a man in an owl suit watching him. The owl man makes several more appearances until he properly speaks with Dick, and reveals that he is William Cobb- his great grandfather and that Dick was meant to succeed him as The Talon- assassin for the court of owls. Dick is doing research on everybody, especially Calvin Rose who has no family, no history, no life. When Dick question him he runs, but when he is caught he reveals that he is the only Talon to have ever escaped. At that same time Cobb reappears trying to kill Calvin and reveals to Dick that he was Dick’s replacement when he went to live with Bruce. Dick shut down the circus due to its dark history, and goes back to the police force. Talon is still keeping eyes on him and Raptor, a man who was sent to train Dick. He accept the training because he sees it as a way to find out their motives but he discovers that they are still trying to make him into the courts assassin, and Raptor has kidnapped both Amy and Sophia, and the end to Dick’s “training” is to kill them both. He refuses and fights the Raptor but is beaten brutally. Raptor swears to kill them and Dick for disobeying the Court and so Dick seeks help from Calvin Rose Dick trains and learns from Calvin and they defeat Raptor together
