  • stevepwayne914 After Jason Todd's death, Dick Grayson goes to Blüdhaven, as he blames Bruce Wayne for bringing another child into his revenge crusade and underestimating him to the point where Jason wants to face the Joker alone. A year after the events of Justice League, Dick is a police detective in Blüdhaven but at night, he dresses as the vigilante Nightwing, named after a Kryptonian legend told to him by Clark Kent, who had an interview with the mayor of Blüdhaven and meets with Dick. In the present day, Dick faces Blockbuster's gang, a gangster who has injected himself with the permanent anabolic toxin derived from Bane's Venom. He interrupts a Blockbuster drug and weapons deal with the Pinguin. After that he returns to his apartment to train and get some sleep, leaving early for the police station and meets his partner Amy Rorbach. The two are always arguing because Amy considers him arrogant and reckless, while Dick tends to find Amy tiresome. Dick tends to be a little antisocial with his co-workers, especially Detective Catalina Flores, who constantly tries to flirt with him (don't worry, she's just a supporting character, the controversy with her doesn't happen here). Dick and Amy are called in to investigate the murder of CC Haly, found with marks forming a distorted image of a bird with its cuts. Haly left the circus to Dick. Amy suspects that the killer is Haly's son, Ryan, who killed him for not having inherited the circus, but Dick sees that the crime was committed by someone very well trained. Dick attends Haly's funeral, but can't find Ryan to question him, until Ryan's body is found in Atlantic City, bearing the same marks that were made by CC's killer. Dick travels with Amy to Atlantic City and her childhood friend and former flame, Raya Vestri. Bruce calls Dick and informs him not to trust Raya, and that he is investigating the case, but Dick does not listen to him, still angry with Bruce and discovers that Bruce puts a tracker on his arm, which he rips off with a scalpel in the bathroom in the hotel he's staying in in Atlantic City. Leaving the bathroom, Dick sees that Tony Zucco, his parents' killer is dead in his bed with the marks, when the lights go out and the assassin Saiko tries to kill him. After a long fight Dick manages to beat Saiko, but he escapes leaving Dick injured. soon after, Dick collapses. Dick wakes up and sees that Raya has tended to his injuries and that she has hidden Zucco's body. She reveals that she knows Dick is Nightwing, as she recognized his stunts on television.

  • stevepwayne914 is saved by Batman, before hallucinating his parents and passing out. When he wakes up, he argues with Bruce, but the two end up making up after Dick admits he wronged him and Jason. Determined to stop Saiko, Dick gets out of bed and sees that his costume was destroyed in the circus fire, but Bruce presents him with a red and black costume (New 52). In Blüdhaven, Dick wages a fierce and bloody battle against Saiko and Blockbuster's henchmen on top of the police station. After a long fight, Dick wins.

  • stevepwayne914 Saiko tells Dick to kill him or he will reveal his secret identity, Dick refuses, however Blockbuster shoots Saiko in the head as he flees. After visiting Amy in the hospital, he goes to the now rebuilt Wayne Manor and thanks him. As he leaves, Bruce tells Alfred that he intends to investigate the secret society that kidnapped Saiko after solving the Red Hood case. Outside the mansion, an owl watches Gotham perched in a tree. In Blüdhaven, Dick continues to hunt down Blockbuster while observing Blüdhaven from atop a building, before receiving a call from Barbara Gordon. In a post-credits scene, Blockbuster hires several assassins to hunt Dick down, including Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Lady Shiva.

  • stevepwayne914 Dick, Amy and Raya investigate Zucco's mansion, but are ambushed by Saiko, who has made a deal with Blockbuster, who has sent armed henchmen to help him. Amy is shot, but Raya gets her out. Dick dons his costume and fights Saiko and the henchmen. When Saiko was going to kill Dick, Raya shoots him with Amy's gun, but he escapes. They take Amy to the hospital and go to Big Belly Burger for dinner, where they reminisce about how close they used to be. They still remember their friend, Raymond McCreary, who died in a car accident shortly after Dick was adopted. Then they walk in the Atlantic City park and kiss. Dick and Raya sleep together. The next day, Dick is alone and finds a cell phone with a video where Saiko reveals that he kidnapped Raya and sends to Haly's circus to find him. Dick unties Raya but she stabs him with a knife soaked in the venom of a Scarecrow toxin-like flower. Saiko appears and reveals that he is Raymond. On the day of the accident, Haly kidnapped him and handed him over to a legendary secret society to be trained and tortured, but he escaped with Raya's help. Dick is the one chosen to be kidnapped by Haly, but his plan fails as Bruce adopts him. Raymond reveals that he has planted bombs in Blüdhaven and plans to blow up the city's streets, killing thousands of people, just to get revenge on Dick and Raya wants revenge for Dick leaving her destitute. Nightwing fights the two, but is defeated, thanks to the effects of the toxin in his blood. Raymond orders Raya to kill him, but she is unable to, as she really loves Dick. Raymond then stabs her in the heart and sets the circus on fire, however he is...
