Synopsis

When a meteor crashes in a zoo and unleashes a mysterious virus, the zoo animals start turning one after the other into some kind of gummy zombies called “Gum-beasts”. The only hope of rescue lies in a mountain lion and wolf... if they manage to work together.

Description of Felix the Proboscis Monkey (Monkey):

Of all the animals in the zoo, Felix prioritizes his own safety above all else, hence why he left Fred and the other monkeys to their fate, and abandoned the remaining survivors to assure his survival. Rewarded as a Traitor Deserves: After abandoning his fellow monkeys and apes to be turned and abandoning the other survivors as well to escape, Felix is immediately turned as soon as he gets to the gates by a swarm of Tree Frog Gum-Beasts.
