During the Vietnam war in 1974, Colonel Nick Fury is pulled out of semi-retirement to lead the Howling Commandos—an elite, unconventional unit of misfits—on a top-secret mission behind enemy lines. Their objective: infiltrate a Hydra research facility rumored to house a weapon capable of turning the tide of the war. As the team ventures deeper into enemy territory, they uncover horrifying experiments involving advanced weaponry, human enhancement, and mysticism. Tensions rise within the group as they face impossible odds and personal demons.
