  • theoriginalmartian The Nick Fury that is currently in the MCU is Nick Fury Jr. Fury Sr is an older white man who grew up in Depression-era NYC, fought in WW2, and lived an unnaturally long life thanks to the Infinity Formula. Fury Jr is the black version that we have in the MCU that was literally drawn with Samuel L. Jackson in mind.
