Description of Frank Castle (The Punisher):

Former USMC Captain, he served with Fury in the Nam, they were both assigned to eliminate Vietcong Officer Letrong Giap. They were made prisonners but managed to break out, while escape, Castle shot Giap in the neck with a sniper rifle, but he managed to survive. Later, back to the US, Frank Castle's family was caught into a crossfire between mobsters, he's the only survivor. He became a cold and ruthless vigilante called "The Punisher".
