Morrigan Crow is a cursed child doomed to die on Eventide. When Bid Day arrives, a day where patrons bid for the pleasure of overseeing certain children’s higher education, she hardly expects to get a bid- she is a cursed child, after all. After happily receiving multiple bids, one submitted by a mysterious Jupiter North, she is stunned and humiliated to find they were flukes.

When Eventide arrives sooner than expected, however, the man called Jupiter North swoops in and whisks her away to a different world, saving her from her doom. To be allowed to stay in this world, however, it is crucial that she get in to the Wundrous Society- an elite society for only the most talented people. The only problem? She doesn’t have any kind of talent…
