Now in October, Nancy, George, and Hannah travel to San Francisco to help Hannah's friend, Rose, fix up an old Victorian Mansion that she bought with her business partner, Abby, in order to turn it into a BnB. However, as the women work on repairs, strange accidents begin to happen from scaffolding collapsing on their own to gas leaks to a small fire breaking out in the foyer to even sightings of ghosts. Louis, an antiquities dealer, blames the accidents on Charlie, the handyman, while Abby blames it on spirits haunting the house. As Nancy and George investigate, they discover that the house once belonged to a songwriter named Lizzie Applegate who was in love with an outlaw named Diego "El Diablo" Valdez. Could their spirits be the ones causing the accidents or is something more sinister going on?
