Synopsis

The year is 2000. In the wake of Bathory's downfall and the destruction wrought by her army of FREAKs, the world yearns for peace. But tranquility proves fleeting. The Cross Organization faces a resurgence of the artificial vampires, now branded as "FREAKs 2.0," created using an advanced version of the sinister "FREAK Chips." These creatures are deadlier, smarter, and more organized than ever, hinting at a shadowy mastermind pulling the strings. As they delve deeper, they are confronted with an even greater threat: the revival of Lord Ruthven, an ancient and malevolent vampire whose cruelty was so extreme that he was deemed too dangerous to ever be resurrected. Now returned from his centuries-old slumber, Ruthven seeks revenge against those he blames for his downfall, using the FREAKs as pawns in his apocalyptic game. With the aid of a deadly group of assassins, Ruthven unleashes chaos, forcing the Cross Organization into a desperate struggle for survival. As the eternal veil between the living and the undead threatens to collapse, the fate of both worlds hangs by a thread.

    • theonewithda_gun   If u noticed, there's only 12 out of 13 Apostles appearing in there. The one that was left out was Lord Ruthven. He was one of the 13 Apostles along with V, Lucian, Valtor, Rocambole and Charlotte. I left him out of there on purpose because i wanna set him up as a villain for the 3rd season of Blood and Cross, so i kept his presence in Dark Origin a complete mystery. Ruthven's justification on why he became so evil and cruel is that he thinks "there's something wrong with the entire human race". He used that as a justification for being so evil that the other vampires despised him and doesn't want him to be revived.

    • theonewithda_gun   Overall, he's up there as one of the most evil villains in this AU franchise, and that was my whole intention, because he's also partially based on some myCast user (you know who) who makes musical comedy stories about murderers and pedos, and he tries to justify his sh*tty behavior by saying "there's something wrong with the entire human race that's why i make these stories about godawful people blablabla" or something like that lol.

  • theonewithda_gun And by the way, if u don't know who Lord Ruthven is, he's a character from John William Polidori's book "The Vampyre". Pretty much some of the main vampires here were based on/inspired by famous fictional vampires. V being based on Count Dracula, Obscurus being inspired by Orlok from Nosferatu, and Moon Saga's version of Elizabeth Bathory is Elizabeth Bathory mixed with Carmilla.
