Description of Stargirl (Courtney Whitmore):
“Prepare to get your butt kicked, Star Spangled Kid style!” Many young people have had to cope with their parents getting remarried, and some had to deal with the marriage getting them moved to another town entirely. In teenage Courtney Whitmore’s case, her new stepdad was a former sidekick to the retired Star-Spangled Kid, who has now become her sidekick as the armored hero S.T.R.I.P.E while Courtney inherits Sylvester Pemberton’s Cosmic Staff to fight evil as Stargirl.
