    @erenyeager one thing that barely makes sense is that the casting for shoto is that he’s asian but his parents and brother are white

    Have you guys not studied enough about the characterization in anime? Most of the characters like most anime are supposed to be Asian for not only skins but also name origins. I’m sorry to say it but it’s better off if Japan adapts most of them to life just to avoid the whitewashing.
