As part of the next stage of Operation Strix, Loid Forger is faced with the need to leave the country in his search for his new target, who has headed for the city of Tokyo. He finds himself accompanied by Yor, a little surprised by the trip, but mainly by Anya, currently on vacation from school. But when both end up getting separated, and the search begins to find her mother again, Anya now finds herself getting help from an unlikely 'babysitter' in her new mission.
