This Multiverse Adventures crossover takes place in the dream world, specifically in Rudo's head while unconscious from a devastating battle. After getting blacked by the Boogeyman, Dark Yabu (the Main villain of the story), by infusing him with a corrupted Heart of Darkness, he transforms into a werewolf against his will. After arriving, he encounters 7 more unlucky people along his journey to find a way back to the waking world, who too were also blacked by Yabu and thrown into the Dream World, them being Juni, Wednesday, Luz, and more. Together, they will traverse realms, cities, and various landscapes while they get to stay as their normal selves during the day, but at night, they transform into the very monsters Yabu had cursed them with as they brawl against nightmares and monsters and trying to get back home.
