Fan Casting Mrs. Abigail's house

Cary Thornton, a 34-year-old widower, has been struggling for years with the pain of the tragic death of his wife Miriam, who died during the delivery of their son, Oliver. The man closes in on himself, providing only basic needs for his son, but neglecting the emotional aspect of their relationship. Oliver, feeling lonely and abandoned, begins to take solitary hikes in the countryside. One day, during one of them, he discovers a mysterious house in an orchard, inhabited by Abigail Hudson, a 31-year-old woman rejected by the local community because of the scars on her face. Despite her difficult past, Abigail shows the boy the warmth and care he lacked at home. She becomes almost like a mother to him, giving him a sense of security and understanding. As time goes by, Cary, worried about his son, hits the trail of this relationship and meets Abigail. The woman, who reminds him of his dead wife, becomes the key to healing both him and Oliver. Ultimately, Cary sees in Abigail not only a caregiver for his son, but also a person who can help him open his heart again.
