A Wholesome Nightmare... Where The Fun Never Stops
Welcome to the vibrant, pastel-colored wonderland of The Neighborhood of Smiles, where beloved children's television icon Mr. Budsters (Bob Odenkirk) teaches kids all about arts, crafts, and unconditional obedience. But behind the cheerful cardigan and the permanent, wide-eyed smile lies a snapping, sociopathic mind. When a routine studio visit by network executives and local parents pushes Mr. Budsters over the edge, the arts-and-crafts segment quickly transforms into an R-rated, blood-soaked abattoir using giant safety scissors, gardening shears, and oversized foam props. The real horror? The studio audience of children doesn't run. To them, the graphic dismemberment is just part of the show. Delivering eerie, deadpan nursery rhymes and cheerfully handing over tools of destruction, the kids treat the carnage like finger paint. As Mr. Budsters and his mini-army take their twisted public-access rampage out into the suburbs to "clean up" the adult population, nobody is safe. NO HUMANS. ONLY ROT.
