Fan Casting Mr. Belvedere

Very loosely based on a book created by Gwen Davenport & a 1940’s movie starring Clifton Webb, this iconic 80’s family sitcom is set in the then-modern times of the suburban area of Pittsburgh (Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania), and follows the Owens family and their snooty English housekeeper, Lynn Belvedere who used to give services to well-known names, like Winston Churchill & the Queen of England. This wild, dysfunctional & kind of “out of place” family consists of George Owens who runs a sport column and later makes it to the tv-screen, Marsha Owens who juggles her life as mom, wife and law student—she later becomes a lawyer in season 5, two teen kids, the sweet and slightly air-headed kid, Kevin Owens and the misunderstood feminist and middle child, Heather Owens & last, but definitely not least, the rambunctious troublemaker, who’s probably smarter than all of us combined, Wesley T. Owens—we get to see Wesley grow up from a little kid to a teenager of his own by the time seaosn 6 rolls around.
