The animated series
In this animated series, the greatest martial artists and warriors from across realms are summoned to compete in Mortal Kombat—a brutal tournament where only the strongest survive. As fighters clash in spectacular hand-to-hand combat, ancient magic, and superhuman abilities collide, each warrior battles not just for glory, but for the fate of their entire world. Shaolin monks, assassins, soldiers, and mystical beings must navigate deadly arenas while uncovering a sinister conspiracy that threatens to destroy the balance between realms. Alliances form and shatter as competitors discover that the tournament itself may be a trap orchestrated by dark forces. With stunning martial arts sequences and high-stakes drama, the series explores honor, redemption, and the price of power as warriors discover that victory demands sacrifice.
