Pulled through time and space after a confrontation with his son Mark (Jacob Elordi), Nolan Grayson (Hayden Christensen), better known as Omni-Man, has struck a deal with a sorcerer known as Shang Tsung (Tony Leung Chiu-wai). Shang explains that he needs Nolan's help if he is to defeat Emperor Liu Kang (Donnie Yen) and take back his home country of Hong Kong, and will return him to his timeline once he has lived up to the deal. Omni-Man agrees to the deal, and alongside two other individuals, Homelander (Antony Starr) and Peacemaker (John Cena), Nolan fights for the way out of this ancient Hong Kong. Though he is yet to find out that a truce with unexpected allies can never last...
