Synopsis

This version of the first Mortal Kombat takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during Phase 1. This follows Raiden and Fujin recruiting Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, and Jax to save Earthrealm in a Tournament called Mortal Kombat, so Outworld does not take over Earthrealm

Description of Sub-Zero:

Sub-Zero(Bi-Han) comes to the Mortal Kombat Tournament to fight for his clan, the Lin Kuei. He was introduced by Shang Tsung along with other fighters from Outworld. A little bit after, Sub-Zero defeats Kung Lao by kicking him in the gut and throwing him. He dies at the hands of Scorpion after their fight. His grave is seen in the post credit scene
