As the god of wind, Fujin dedicated himself to protecting Shinnok's amulet until he failed in his mission when he was defeated by an unknown thief and consequently lost the amulet. Despite his failure, the Elder Gods granted him a second chance through a mission of utmost importance: to aid his brother Raiden in the defense of Earthrealm against Shao Kahn's invasion.
