Mona, who collides with a Net star, Angie Mitchell, who is capable of tapping into cyberspace without a computer. Mona is kidnapped by the Yakuza and taken to Japan, where she is forced to work for them. She is aided by Kumiko, a young girl who is obsessed with a virtual idol.
