In the live-action remake of Disney's Moana, we follow the story of a young girl named Moana who lives on a beautiful island in the Pacific Ocean. Moana has always felt drawn to the sea, but her father, the village chief, forbids anyone from going beyond the reef. Moana's grandmother, however, encourages her to follow her heart and teaches her about the ancient legends of their people. One day, Moana discovers that the ocean itself has chosen her to find a demigod named Maui and together, they must journey across the ocean to restore the heart of Te Fiti, a powerful goddess who created all life. Along the way, they encounter many dangers, including a giant crab named Tamatoa and the fiery wrath of the lava monster, Te Ka. As Moana and Maui journey together, they learn about each other's struggles and strengths and develop a deep bond.
