This is the story of a bunch of misfits, who comes from different places but have to work together to stop Ronan, the Accuser, a Kree outcast who is working for Thanos and trying to find a mysterious Orb which is extremely powerful. But that will not be an easy mission, because not only Ronan and Thanos are againts them, but there are more villains like the Collector, the Ravagers and if that"d not be enough the whole Nova Corps are trying to catch them too...read more

Description of Groot:

I am Groot... Groot is the partner of Rocket and togehter they are a deadly mercenary duo. It is one of the last members of the Flora Colossus, and it can only speak the words "I am Groot". Alongside with Rocket Groot got jailed too, and eventually they both became members of the Guardians. But at the end of the movie, Groot sacrifices itself to save his friends... but a little twig survives and in the mid-credit scene it is revealed that a new (baby) Groot has born from it...
