The update focuses on a handful of quality-of-life improvements, visual upgrades, and performance tweaks that aim to make the PC experience smoother. But while some changes are genuinely useful, others feel more like small refinements than major breakthroughs. For players looking ahead to launch, Ultimate Team, and squad building, this overview matters more than it may seem. Faster Game Launches One of the biggest talking points is the improved startup process. EA says it has reduced the number of visible windows and loading steps during launch on Steam, with testing showing around a 50% improvement in launch time. That sounds promising, especially for players who want to get from desktop to match as quickly as possible. Still, the video makes it clear that this is a “good but not game-changing” update. The creator points out that launch times were already manageable for many users, so this improvement is welcome but not revolutionary. Even so, smoother access is always a plus, especially for those who jump in daily to grind matches, trade, or manage their club. New Graphics Options FC 27 also expands the graphics preset system. EA has added new Performance, Balanced, High, and Ultra options, with the High and Ultra presets targeting at least 80 FPS and 120 FPS on suitable hardware. For players with powerful setups, this could offer more flexibility and better visual control. There is also an Enhanced Ultra Visuals mode for high-end PCs. This option pushes image quality beyond the standard Ultra preset and is meant for users who prioritize visuals over maximum efficiency. However, it is disabled by default, which is a smart decision. Players focused on responsiveness can simply leave it off.
