As far back as Graham remembers, he never wanted Damien anywhere near him. Not after a previous encounter and mission that put both of them at odds... But, due to initial reasoning of some higher-ups in the agency, Graham reluctantly adds Damien into the team. Throughout, we learn of what really happened between both of them in that stated mission.
