When Catherine’s sister, Walburga, uncovers evidence leading to Bichel’s arrest, the victims’ restless spirits haunt him through the cursed mirror, manifesting as terrifying visions. As the authorities close in, the ghosts drive Bichel to confess his crimes, leading to his 1809 execution.
