Synopsis

Teenager Michael Beaumont tries to juggle his two new worlds -- he must learn how to use his new powers and responsibilities as Superbug while keeping it a secret from his high school friends and teachers. As important as school is to Michael, Superbug is expected to be a superhero and protect citizens from jewelry-powered villain, mutant animals, and a whole cast of villains.

Amari is Michael's best friend - and Superbug's biggest fan - but doesn't realize they're the same person. Amari is confident, cool, and a little bit sassy, never afraid to speak his mind, and always keeping an eye on Parisian trends and news. He dreams of being a professional news reporter, but until that day, he's practicing by running the Ladyblog, tracking Superbug and Miss Feline's every accomplishment.
