When 11-year-old Evie Feinberg meets Maddie Pearson on her first day of a new school the two become good friends fast and end up being closer than sisters. Hey wait, that's a good idea, why don't they become sisters? The two decide to plot and scheme to get Evie's single dad and Maddie's single mom together, with the help of Maddie's mischievous little sisters!
